Neither death nor life... nor anything else in all creation,
will ever be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  - Romans 8:38-39

In life and death we belong to God and to the people of God.  At Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church we strive to be a caring community of faith, which meets the needs of our congregation in both life and death.

The Columbarium and Memorial Garden continues that tradition by providing a beautiful and reverent place to inurn members of our community, remember them, and reflect upon their life's witness to faith.

Rendition of Columbarium and Memorial Garden

Sited next to the Rt. 355 entrance of the church, the Columbarium and Memorial Garden will transform a neglected part of our landscape into a celebration of faith and of our community's life and work.

Composed of the columbarium wall with inurnment niches, a central reflective fountain and surrounding garden, this prayerful place provides a respite for the grieving - a quiet space to be still, remembering God's love.

Completion of this project is only made possible by the generous support of our congregation through donations and the reservation of niches.  Such support will bless the life of our church for many generations to come.
