Young Adult Ministry

The Young Adult Ministry is a group of Twentysomethings at GPC who exist to:

  • Reach Young Adults with the Good news of Jesus Christ
  • Serve the Community
  • Connect with the larger Church; and
  • Hear God Speak to us

Young Adults at GPC gather weekly on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m. to find friends and share their lives on a spiritual level.  We do this through experiential worship, small group encounters, study of God’s Word, and, of course, food.

Young Adults also enjoy getting involved beyond themselves in ways that connect them with God’s work and purposes in the world.  Last summer, four of us spent four weeks in Quito, Ecuador, working alongside Christian missionaries there repairing community facilities, teaching in Vacation Bible Schools, and sharing joy and love to children and adults alike.  Of course, the measure you give is the measure you get back: cherished friendships and a deeper understanding of the love of Christ as shared by Christians in other parts of the world.

Young Adults sometimes just get together to BE together as a Christian community.  Periodically, we retreat together in the outdoors such as the Delaware Seashore State Park
