To follow Jesus in the way he intends has always included uniting with his church. The church is not a museum for saints, but rather a hospital for sinners. It is the family that encourages us, teaches, helps, and propels us forward into mission. It may not always be perfect – what family is ever perfect? – but it strives to become more and more like Jesus in sharing resources, love and prayer.

On Sunday, March 7, we at GPC will offer our basic orientation, starting with lunch at 12:15 PM and ending before 6 PM. Free child care will be available upon advance request.

Topics for the afternoon include:

* Who is Jesus?
* Who is the Church?
* What does it mean to belong?
* Learning about Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church
* Finding our way forward on the journey

Inquirers will participate in large and small-group discussions, and will complete a notebook that can be useful whether or not someone elects to pursue membership.
