Fellowship in Small Groups

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, these groups are not currently meeting.
For more information, please contact the church office.

Men’s Breakfast Group

This group meets the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in Lindsay Hall for Christian fellowship, prayer, and a light breakfast. Meetings feature speakers on a variety of topics. All men and women are welcome! Come and bring a friend!

Christian Women Fellowship

CWF meets every Sunday after the second worship service for Bible study, singing, and fellowship.

Craft Group

Bring your lunch and start or finish knitting, sewing, and crocheting projects! There are also ongoing needs for prayer shawls, small knitted/crocheted animals, and lap robes (patterns are available). To support breast cancer patients, patterns are also available for knit prosthetics. If you have a special project in mind, would like a materials list, or have questions, email the church office

2nd Friday Book Club

Books are selected by the group as a whole and then discussed chapter by chapter. You are encouraged to join the group and bring a friend, even if you haven’t started the book or are unable to make all meetings; all discussion is welcome. For more information about the group, contact the church office.

The Good Grief Group

If you’re dealing with the loss of a loved one or another loss, you are invited to GPC’s bereavement support group. This is a small group, usually 8 to 12 people, including a facilitator. Everyone has an opportunity to talk (or may refrain from talking, if they wish) and all conversations are confidential. For more details, contact the church office.

Covenant Small Groups

These small groups meet privately in members’ homes for Bible Study. Please contact the church office to become involved.

Dinners for Eight (D48)

Recipe for a Divine Experience:

  • 1 date and time
  • 2 hosts with entrée
  • 1 appetizer
  • 1 salad, vegetable, or bread
  • Lots of desserts
  • 6 guests hungry for Christian fellowship and discussion, and good food

Add all ingredients in any size home and blend thoroughly.

Serve leisurely.

The Dinners for Eight program is a wonderful way for new and current members of GPC to get to know one another in a small group setting. This gives each of us the opportunity to create lasting bonds of friendship with other members of GPC outside of service, committee meetings, and ministry programs.

Each year during September, you can sign up for the next year’s Dinners for Eight as a single, a couple, or a substitute. Gatherings are held from November through June. As the host for one dinner, you will provide the entrée in your home. As the guest for three other dinners, you are asked to bring an appetizer, salad, vegetable, bread, or dessert to your host’s home.
Prayer Network
Prayer requests are received and distributed to members of the Prayer Network to uplift our congregation.
